- 1tsp Sriracha Sauce
- 2 slices Multi-grain toast (if you want to get fancy, buy something artisanal that requires slicing)
- 1 ripe avocado (ripeness is important, as you’ll need to spread it)
- Kosher Salt to taste
First, pop the sliced bread into the toaster, and let it crisp up while you slice the avocado. Now, if you’re anything like Crazy Jewish Mom, you’ve never been anywhere near a cutting board let alone a kitchen knife, so watch the video below, if you don’t know how to slice an avocado. If you already know how to get at that sweet green butter, then skip the video and proceed!
Once you’ve freed the avocado slices, grab the toast and spread the avocado over the warm bread. We like a lot of avocado on our toast, but you can spread as much or as little as you’d like (just make sure there’s at least a thin layer spread over each slice). Next, sprinkle a modest amount of kosher salt over the avocado coated toast (you can always add more after tasting, so go easy at first).
Squirt about ½ a teaspoon of Sriracha evenly over each slice. We love Sriracha, so we add more, but it’s spicy, so if you’ve never tried it before, start with a little and add more if you like it! Next, EAT!
